The St. Mark School Advisory Committee (SAC) is a ministry called to strengthen St. Mark Catholic Church and School. SAC works in an advisory capacity to the pastor and principal on matters related to implementing policies and regulations issued by the Diocese of Raleigh. SAC works to ensure student success and development through faith-centered policies, planning, program assessment/evaluation, and communication.

In accordance with the mission and vision of St. Mark Catholic School, additional functions of SAC may include, but are not limited to:

  • Proposing school policies
  • Assisting with long-range planning
  • Participating in program assessment/evaluation
  • Gathering the support of stakeholders
  • Fostering communication between parents/guardians and school administration

The School Advisory Committee consists of members with a wide and diverse range of skill sets and experience. Each member and their unique abilities help the school administration develop and enact policies that will support the needs of every student and his/her family.
