New Catholic high school feasibility study for the Wilmington region
The Diocese of Raleigh Office of Catholic Schools, at the request of Bishop Zarama, is undertaking a feasibility study for a Catholic high school in the Wilmington area. This study will be conducted over the next four to five months and will engage the Catholic community in New Hanover, Pender and Brunswick counties. It is the third of four new high school feasibility studies being conducted by the Diocese. As a first step in the study process, several focus group and information meetings were conducted at St. Mark and St. Mary Catholic schools. These were introductory meetings to gather information that will be included later in the study process. On behalf of the diocese, the Office of Catholic Schools we appreciate each of you parents who participated in these important meetings that provided essential information and insight into what parents are looking for and would expect from a Catholic high school. More information and details regarding this study will be coming soon on the diocesan website and through parish and school communications.
